Zero Balancing (ZB) is a hands-on body-mind system that balances the relationship of energy and structure within the bones, joints, and body tissues. It was founded in 1973 by California osteopath and acupuncturist Fritz Smith.
The ZB practitioner uses passive movements to evaluate the quality and strength of energy flow through bones, joints, and soft tissue. Gentle, firm, non-invasive manual pressure is used to balance the flow of energy through these structures.
ZB draws from both Eastern and Western healing disciplines including osteopathy, acupuncture, meditation, energy medicine, and modern physics. It is an excellent tool for decompressing the spine and joints, reducing physical, mental, and emotional stress, and enhancing clarity and well-being on all levels. Very often after a session clients describe feeling “taller” or “more grounded.”
Laura began studying ZB in 1985 and has been a Certified Zero Balancer since 1988. Further information about ZB can be found at the Zero Balancing Health Association website at: zerobalancing.com
